Provided mechanical and plumbing system sizing and energy modeling for new high-efficiency all-electric standalone ADU utilizing high-performance envelope assemblies, PV, ERV, and heat pumps for water heating and space conditioning to achieve very high energy efficiency exceeding code requirements by over 50% without increasing costs over a typical design that would have required costly electrical and natural gas service upgrades.

7,500 ft² Commercial Building • Problem-Solving Compliance

Performed multi-dimensional finite element calculation for custom roof and wall assemblies that had accidentally been installed with only 1/10th of the originally prescribed thermal break insulation. The project had been abandoned by the original energy consultant who was unable to analyze the building in its as-built condition due to the assemblies not being available in their simplistic compliance software. T24 Consulting proved compliance, saving the general contractor tens of thousands in rework, and allowing the client to receive building department approval in time for their required opening date.
